For transfers in bed.

     Liko’s HandyTube™ facilitates shorter transfers in bed or between two beds by reducing friction against the underlying surface. It can be used both for patients with average weight and bariatric patients and are manufactured in a high quality low-friction fabric, which keeps its good sliding capabilities even after a long period in use.

     HandyTubes come in three different models, each with different application areas, and are packaged individually.

• The smallest model, Short, is mainly used for repositioning the patient higher up in bed.
• The medium size, Long, is used to turn the patient in bed or for transfers between two beds.
• Thanks to its handles, size Wide can be used to turn or reposition a patient in bed. It can also be used for transfers between two beds, in which case two caregivers should assist.

     Transfers with HandyTube should be smooth and easy. If the task seems heavy, we recommend the use of other lifting and transfer assistive devices in our range.

HandyTube Wide can be used to turn a patient in bed.	With HandyTube Short, the patient can easily reposition himself by his own strength.
